Aftervow ("we", "us") helps you understand and organize your divorce. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Aftervow to handle sensitive information with care.
Your account details (name and email), the content you choose to add (decree text, notebook notes, calendar, event log, and expenses), and the basic technical information needed to run and secure the app.
Only to provide Aftervow to you. Your questions and documents are processed by an AI assistant to generate your answers. Depending on configuration this runs on our own server or through a trusted AI provider; when a provider is used, your text is sent solely to produce your response and is not used to train their models. We never sell your data and we never show you ads.
Aftervow uses AI to help you understand your own documents and draft messages. It provides general information, not legal advice, and can make mistakes. Always confirm anything important with a licensed professional. Aftervow is not a substitute for an attorney, and your use of it is not a legally privileged or confidential communication.
Your data is stored on our secure servers and kept until you delete it. You can erase your account and everything in it at any time from Account, then Delete account.
Nothing is shared with your co-parent unless you generate a share code and give it to them, and even then they only receive a read-only view of the calendar or expenses you chose to share. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to it.
Aftervow is intended for adults (18 and older) and is not directed to children.
